If I am experiencing an urgent mental health crisis what help can I get?
In general it is a good idea to speak to your GP in the first instance about your mental health.
Should there be a life threatening emergency, you should always call the Emergency Services on 999 or 101 for urgent advice.
Safe Haven Coventry and Warwickshire
Safe Haven Coventry and Warwickshire is a crisis de-escalation for adults aged 16+ in Coventry and Warwickshire. Available between 6pm–11pm, 7 evenings a week, Safe Haven supports individuals who are distressed or struggling to cope, either in-person or by phone, email, video chat or text.

The Samaritans provide confidential, caring emotional support, 24 hours a day for people who have feelings of distress or despair, including those which could lead to suicide. Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership Trust
Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership Trust has services for people in crisis and if needed you may be referred to these. The types of support for people in these urgent situations include The Home Treatment Team and the inpatient services at the Caludon Centre in Coventry or St Michael’s Hospital in Warwick.
The Home Treatment Team offers intensive support to people in their own homes, and tries to avoid a need for a hospital admission. They operate 24 hours a day, 365 days per year.
