The guide has checklists and examples to follow to assist you in your event planning. It does not replace HSE guidance with regard to events but it does, hopefully, make the guidance easier to understand and implement. It will also make clear to you what your responsibilities are with regard to hosting a safe and yet fun event.

The Event Safety Guide has been created to assist those new to event organising and those who are experienced in events and want to use council parks and open spaces as event sites.
