If you are new to cycling and want to give it a try, or you have limited space to store a bike at home, then the West Midlands Cycle Hire scheme [https://www.wmcyclehire.co.uk/] could be a really good fit for you. It allows you to hire a bike for short periods, for an unlock fee then a set price per minute. It may also enable you to come into Coventry by bus or train, and then travel around the city by bike.
Bikes are available to hire 24/7 from docking stations located in the city centre and surrounding areas, including Coventry railway station, Pool Meadow bus station, Coventry University and University of Warwick. Docking stations in Coventry extend as far out as Coundon, Stoke Green, Gibbett Hill and Tile Hill.
The scheme operates across a number of zones in the West Midlands, so you could even ride to the station in Coventry on a hire bike, and then jump on another hire bike at the other end of your rail or bus journey.
Daily and monthly passes are available to help you save money if you use the scheme regularly or intensively.
